Certified Instructors

Nicole McDorman- Head Instructor

Nicole has been part of the New Beginnings family since 2012. She grew up on a horse farm in Tampa, FL. She has shown in a number of disciplines including: Western Pleasure, English, Dressage, and Barrel Racing. In the summers of 2009 and ’10 she was a horse back tour guide in Estes Park, CO. She went to school at WKU and graduated with an Equine Science Degree in 2011. She has been a PATH Intl. certified riding instructor since 2013. In 2016 she received her CHA (certified Horsemanship Association) certification as a level 3 instructor in both English and Western. She is currently working towards getting her PATH Advanced certification.

Pixie Jarvis

Pixie has been part of the New Beginnings family since 2012. She has her own horse farm here in KY. She received her PATH Intl. instructor riding certification in 2014. She is also a PATH Intl. certified Equine Specialist and she has a passion for working in the Emotional and Mental health side of the program.

Heather Yule

Heather has been part of the New Beginnings family since 2012. She grew up with horses here in Bowling Green, KY. She received her PATH Intl. certification in 2015. She is also a Registered Nurse and specializes in neonatal care. She is passionate about horses and teaching others about them.

Samantha (Jo) Dye

Jo has been part of the New Beginnings family since 2014. She grew up with animals and has heart for rescuing all types of critters. She has competed in Roping and all things Western. She is a registered Vet Tech.  She has gone through Clinton Anderson’s Fundamentals training up to the intermediate level. In 2016 she became a PATH Intl certified riding instructor.

Asa Raymond

Asa or “Ace,” has been with New Beginnings since it was founded in 1997. He is a PATH Intl. certified Driving and Riding Instructor. He is also a site evaluator and knows all things PATH.

Rebecca Filiatreau

Becca joined New Beginnings family in 2016. She is currently a student at WKU.

Caileigh Dauphinais

Caileigh joined New Beginnings family in 2015. She was born in Canada and through work she has found her way here to Bowling Green, KY.

Sarah Redmon

Sarah joined the New Beginnings family in 2016. She is currently a student at WKU.

Sophia Nasato

Sophia has been part of the New Beginnings family since 2015. She is currently a student at WKU.

Michele Vise

Michele has been a part of the New Beginnings family since 2009. She is our executive and program director here at NBTR.

Chloe Carter

Chloe has been part of the New Beginnings family since 2011. She has shown in English, Western, and Dressage. She is part of the Rough Riders 4-h club and is in charge of our Junior volunteer program.
